I latched onto punk pretty early into my teens. Of all the songs by all the bands, i think Holiday in Cambodia probably opened my mind the most. I’m not even a big DK fan, but that song was pivotal to me.

I was 12 when it came out but it was California Uber Alles for me, I was one of the kids meditating in school so it hit home solidly. First time I really understood the counter-culture conflict between the Hippies and the punks in SF, it finally just made sense to me.
Good call on this one.
